Votes are in!

The much awaited results finally came in today. i proudly revealed who i voted for bcz they won!

i voted for Harsha and now she is the Asst.Head Girl. I voted for Anam and now she is the head girl. i'm happy and they are happy.....

it actually doesn't matter to us who wins and who doesn't win...what matters is that on Sunday, all the students that got elected will bring chocolates! huge ones as we ordered....so as far as I've counted i'm getting 10 whole bars of chocolate!...mainly galaxy and cadbury!

The first thing i did once i reached back home was call my friend, Nahla to tell her about what happened in islahi today. she studied there before with me (a loong loong story! i'll probably tell you next time). and i poured in the news along with all the bits and gossips a newcomer; me heard.

Campaigning!

It is the second week in Islahi and the campaigning has begun!

Students who studied in islahi for more than 3 years are allowed to stand for the posts of Head girl, Asst.head girl, Captains and Vice Captains.

Us 11th graders are allowed to stand for VC and Asst.head only. Harsha and Sana are nominated for the post of head girl and it is up to the students to vote and let one of them win. as for the post of VC, they are selected by the teachers.

It was hard deciding for whom to vote specially when you are new to the school and dont know anyone there. about 100s of people came and told me to vote for harsha and another group told me 2 vote 4 sana. then the head girl's groups came to me.....so it was a heck of a day!.

after a lot of thinking i finally decided whom to vote for. i dont think it would be fair to tell it out here. but hopefully, the person i votes for will do well get elected and will do well in the post assigned to them.
